President's Journal

9 Dec 2006 — Pune — 5:00 p.m.

I don’t have much time right now for journaling. I need to be downstairs in about 20 minutes. This morning we left about 9:30 to go to the UBS sports field to "see" Sheron on sports’ day for his school. Unfortunately, he was done before we arrived. Georgene gave a short message, though I was distracted by thoughts of what I would preach if I had been put on the spot like that. From there, we continued to a lunch meeting with three generations of the same family. Pastor Paul asked Bill to speak on family and honoring elders. He did an excellent job on short notice since I could tell that wasn’t the topic he was planning on talking about. We came back to IPH and now I’m getting a brief rest before our 6:00 p.m. meeting/dinner combo. And now it’s time for me to leave...
