Bill & Georgene Hawkins return to India for another busy time of ministry!
The Hawkins have recently returned from another busy time in India. Ministering the work of God, teaching, and encouraging pastors and believers throughout India as they go. There has been one thing though that has been different. They have had guests. Two friends have visited India for shorter stays than theirs. Arlene Visyak went earlier in the year (2006) and Peter Jones went in the fall of 2006. Below are thoughts and impressions that Peter, our Board President, had about Life Changing Words Ministry as they ministered together in India!
A Word from the President
Greetings from the President:
Bill and Georgene just returned safely from their 2006-2007 trip to India, with plenty of amazing stories of His work. To find out the details, as always, feel free to visit the Missionary Journal at http://www.lifechangingwordsministry.org/journal.
For the last two trips, God has provided an extra bonus for the Hawkins and the India ministry: short-term helpers from the States. In April of last year, our friend Arlene, flew to India, and ministered with Bill and Georgene for one month. Then in November, I joined the Hawkins for three weeks, and got the whirlwind introduction to New Delhi, Mumbai, and the surrounding areas where L.C.W.M. ministers. Through the trip, I was able to see the practical ministry firsthand and get a better understanding of what it truly means for Bill and Georgene to be over there – God is using them mightily – and it increased my heart for the people of India. My journal is also on our website in the Missionary Journal section.
